1 – ACN and the Foundation for Active Citizenship will be presenting the draft of the EUROPEAN CHARTER OF ACTIVE CITIZENSHIP and promoting an enlarged debate with several stakeholders in a conference to be held in Vienna, the 22nd and the 23rd of May. 2 – The 3 June and 1 July 26 ACN and the Foundation for Active Citizenship promote the 6th INTERNATIONAL SEMINAR ON CORPORATE SOCIAL RESPONSABILITY. Seminar dedicated to the relationships between citizens and private companies in the framework of their CSR strategies, and in particular to the results of the project ‘Citizens as Corporate Social Responsibility Partners’. If you belong to a civic organisation and you are interested in participating, FONDACA may cover the travel and accommodation costs of ONE representative by organisation (to a maximum of 3 organisations). 3 – GREEN WEEK: from the 3 May to the 2 June 26 the EC / DG Environment promotes the Green Week. Green Week will provide a unique opportunity for exchange of experiences and best practices among non-governmental organisations, companies, various levels of governance and the public, focusing at key aspects of EU biodiversity policy and potential approaches for strengthening cooperation with stakeholders in order to ensure that the 21 target is reached. 4 – DG Sanco Call for proposals – The Commission provides financial support for Specific projects realised at national or European level, intended to implement the objectives of the consumer policy. Deadline: 3 June 26

Online consultation on the representativeness of European civil society organisations – The European Economic and Social Committee (EESC) is launching an online consultation on the representativeness of European civil society organisations. The consultation comes in the wake of the EESC’s opinion on the representativeness of European civil society organisations in civil dialogue, adopted on 14 February 26. Deadline: 3 June 26.
