Lo scopo è quello di alzare l’attenzione intorno a questa vertenza, di supportare ed incrementare la credibilità  dell’esperienza di Mondeggi Bene Comune di fronte all’opinione pubblica e di conseguenza di fronte alla Città  Metropolitana di Firenze (proprietaria del bene), che sta rilanciando la vendita della fattoria in modo sempre più determinato.

Chi non conosce Mondeggi, può approfondire la questione leggendo il  dossier che ne ripercorre la storia e prendere visione nel reportage fotografico di ciò che a grandi linee è stato fatto in questi anni. Qui potete leggere l’appello di tre anni fa (a cui aderirono circa ottanta professori).

L’appello fa parte di un insieme di pressioni volte all’interruzione della scrittura del bando di vendita e al riconoscimento della Gestione Civica della Comunità  di Mondeggi, definita nella “Dichiarazione di gestione civica di un bene comune” e già  in atto.

Una strada che ha avuto successo in diversi contesti accomunati dalla volontà  delle istituzioni di dialogare con delle realtà  nate e sviluppate con una logica di reale democrazia dal basso e di valorizzarne la funzione sociale, senza trincerarsi retoricamente dietro alla retorica della legalità  consapevoli che questa rappresenta un concetto dinamico, che cambia nello spazio e nel tempo a seconda della volontà  politica presente nelle istituzioni. Ma in mancanza di questa volontà  c’è bisogno del vostro supporto.

Per questo vi chiediamo di aderire e diffondere questa raccolta ad ogni contatto e canale utile. Il vostro supporto in questo momento è fondamentale per la sopravvivenza di un’esperienza unica di autogestione di un Bene Comune, che coinvolge la partecipazione di centinaia di persone.

Call to support Mondeggi as a Common 2017

This Call, launched from an accademic group and subscribed from a growing number of professors, researchers and scholars, has been extended also to civil society actors. We ask you to contribute to spread it to help us to collect more subscriptions.

The objective is to increase the attention around this controversy, to support the Mondeggi Bene Comune (Mondeggi as a Common) experience and to make pressure on the Metropolitan City of Florence (the owner), which is relaunching the sale of the farm, blocks this plan.

Those who do not know Mondeggi can learn more by reading this dossier (EN) that tells the story of the self-managed farm and by taking a look at the photo  report  of what has been done in last years. Here you can read the Call from accademic community of three years ago.

The appeal is part of a strategy of make pressure to stop the call for a private buyer and obtain official recognition for the Civic Management of the Mondeggi Community, defined in the Declaration of Civic Management of a Common, already in place (there’s not an english version yet).

The road we propose has been successful in different contexts due to the will of local institutions to dialogue with the realities born and developed with a logic of real democracy from the grassroots and to enhance its social function without hiding behind the rhetoric of legality, aware that this represents a dynamic concept, that changes in space and time depending on the political will inside the institutions.

That is why we ask for the availability to subscribe and please, spread this Call to support to every useful contact and channel. Your support can be very important in this moment for the survival of an unique experience of self-management of a common good, that involve the partecipation of hundreds of people.
